At a time when digital health has never been more crucial, we understand that companies, both big and small, have burgeoning ideas waiting for the right catalyst to bring them to life. Our winter quarter CS342 course offers an unparalleled opportunity to guide Stanford undergraduate and graduate CS students to transform ideas into functional MVPs.
In the span of just five years, our diligent students and resourceful faculty have brought over 20 projects to fruition, not only at Stanford but at institutions across the nation. The backbone of each project, our open-source mobile development combined with the FHIR data standard native framework, is the Stanford Spezi, the successor to CardinalKit.
Previous versions of CS342 only focused on faculty-provided project ideas and guidance. Due to the number of requests we are thrilled to extend an invitation to industry partners to join hands in advancing digital health solutions: The Stanford CS342 Building for Digital Health Partnership Program:
We urge our industry partners like you to think beyond the horizon. By proposing projects that serve the greater public interest, you can be an architect of transformational, sustainable, and equitable solutions that have a profound impact both domestically and globally.
The class will commence in January 2024 and conclude by the end of March 2024. We encourage you to visit last year's CS342 web page where you can acquaint yourself with the class structure, past projects, and to gather more insights into our class.
